It’s officially Fall! I’m going to try not to mourn the loss of summer too much and instead embrace all things autumnal. This includes adding a few items to update my wardrobe for the colder weather. Here’s what caught my eye this week!
Layering is pretty much essential here right now. There’s a chill in the air when you wake up but in midday sun it’s beautiful! A neutral blazer is a great choice for staying stylish and for keeping warm in the cooler mornings. This fitted one from H & M would be my pick!
I absolutely love the color of this leather bag from Madewell - it’s a nice change from black and I think it would pair well with so many outfits. I also like that it’s a crossbody bag, it lets you free up your hands for those pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin muffins with cream cheese filling! :)
One fall trend for accessories is incorporating a little more sparkle so wearing a minimalist necklace with some subtle shine is an easy way to do it! This one has a dainty CZ charm on gold-filled chain and looks pretty worn alone or layered.
How chic are these Zara boots? Very is the right answer! I really like the look of a fitted boot and the heel is high enough that it’s a step up (see what I did there?) from casual but it’s not so high that I have to worry about walking in them. The pointed toe also gives them a sleek modern look.
Sometimes you have to go with the tried and true and that’s what I’ve done with this pick from Banana Republic. (And who am I kidding? I’m always going to be adding something black to my closet.) This ribbed turtleneck gets great reviews and it looks like a perfect layering piece - I think it would look fantastic under a trench or paired with a blazer.
